Hang Tai Yue Group (08081.HK) announced on August 21st that the group expects to report a loss of no less than 23 million Hong Kong dollars for the six months ended June 30, 2024, while it recorded a profit of approximately 46.664 million Hong Kong dollars for the six months ended June 30, 2023. This is mainly due to the fact that for the six months ended June 30, 2023, the group recognized a revenue of approximately 72.145 million Hong Kong dollars from the sale of a wholly-owned subsidiary company, Tracking Information Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., which was deemed as disposal by the group on May 31, 2023. There is no relevant income for the six months ended June 30, 2024.
