AB Builders (01615.HK) announced that it is expected to record a pre-tax profit of between 1 million and 3 million Macau dollars for the six months ending June 30, 2024, while the net loss for the six months ending June 30, 2023 was approximately 10 million Macau dollars.
According to the announcement, the significant improvement in performance is mainly due to (i) an increase in gross profit resulting from higher profit margins on decoration projects with reduced total income for the six months ending June 30, 2024; and (ii) an increase in other income (such as interest income).
