Attesi has lowered its full-year component shipment expectation to 32-36GW and raised its full-year large-scale storage shipment expectation to 6.5-7.0GWh, with a year-on-year growth of over 500%. For the whole year of 2024, the controlling shareholder Attesi Group expects to achieve a revenue of 6.5-7.5 billion US dollars. Attesi's battery factory in the United States is expected to be put into operation within 2025.

On August 22nd, the Science and Technology Innovation Board Daily reported that Attesi released its half-yearly report. In the first half of this year, the company achieved a revenue of 21.958 billion yuan, a decrease of 15.88% compared to the same period last year; the net profit attributable to shareholders reached 1.239 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 35.55%.

Looking at the quarterly performance, Attesi's net profit attributable to shareholders in the second quarter was 0.661 billion yuan, a decrease of 34.25% year-on-year but an increase of 14.12% quarter-on-quarter.

Regarding the decline in performance, Attesi stated that the competition in the global photovoltaic market has intensified, leading to a significant decrease in the sales price of photovoltaic modules. The revenue of photovoltaic modules and system products has decreased year-on-year, but the growth in energy storage revenue has partially offset the decline in revenue.

Attesi admits that under the current circumstances, the company's photovoltaic business is balancing between price and shipment volume, abandoning some loss orders and actively reducing the shipment volume of some photovoltaic products in favor of profitability. In the first half of 2024, Attesi sold a total of 14.5GW of photovoltaic products globally.

In comparison, during the reporting period, the company secured multiple overseas energy storage project orders. Attesi's energy storage business achieved sales of 2.6GWh, a year-on-year growth of 3309%. As of the end of the reporting period, the company had approximately 66GWh of energy storage system order backlog, with a contracted order amount of 2.6 billion US dollars.

Looking back at its operating plan in the 2023 financial report, Attesi mentioned that it expects the annual shipment volume of components in 2024 to be between 42 and 47GW, and the shipment volume of energy storage systems to be between 6.0 and 6.5GWh.

The Science and Technology Innovation Board Daily noticed that in the half-yearly report, Attesi adjusted its full-year component shipment expectation to 32-36GW and raised its full-year large-scale storage shipment expectation to 6.5-7.0GWh, with a year-on-year growth of over 500%.

In the third quarter of 2024, the company anticipates shipping 9.0-9.5GW of components. The controlling shareholder of the company, Atus Group, is expected to achieve a revenue of 1.6-1.8 billion USD, with a gross margin expected to be 14%-16%. Looking ahead to the full year of 2024, the controlling shareholder Atus Group anticipates a revenue of 6.5-7.5 billion USD.

In terms of production capacity, Atus currently has nearly 30GW of TOPCon battery production capacity using the latest equipment in factories in Yangzhou, Suqian, and Thailand, accounting for approximately 62% of the company's battery production capacity. The average production efficiency of TOPCon batteries has reached as high as 26.5%.

Meanwhile, Atus has established 5GW N-type new technology photovoltaic module factories and 5GW high-efficiency N-type solar cell projects in two cities in the USA. The component factory in the USA was officially put into operation in 2023 and began delivering 210-size products in the first quarter of 2024. The battery factory in the USA is currently undergoing construction of civil and electromechanical parts, with production expected within 2025.

Atus is currently increasing its research and development, with R&D investment in the first half of this year reaching 0.423 billion yuan, a year-on-year growth of 51.8%.

The company's HJT pilot line has been continuously producing, with an average efficiency of 26.60%. The research and development efficiency has reached 26.7%. It is expected that by the fourth quarter of 2024, the HJT pilot efficiency will increase to 26.7-26.8%, corresponding to a power of 730W for 66 pieces of 210mm battery components.

The HJT 0BB technology combined with 210 large batteries as new components has been approved, and pilot production at the megawatt level will take place in 2024, with a target power at the end of the year approximately 10W higher than the same type of TOPCon. The TOPCon 0BB component project is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2024.

In terms of energy storage products, the company has completed the mass supply of the SolBank series products after the second-generation iterative development. The large-scale liquid-cooled 0.67P energy storage system has the capability for mass production and meets the demand of the domestic and overseas energy storage markets. The company is currently advancing the research and development of the third generation SolBanK3.0 and is expected to enter the mass production stage in the fourth quarter of 2024.

Regarding overseas markets, as of the end of the reporting period, Atus has established or planned production bases in countries such as Thailand, the USA, and Vietnam, and has over 20 sales companies overseas. The USA market has been growing rapidly. In the first half of this year, the company's shipments to the USA increased by 110% year-on-year, and by 69% quarter-on-quarter. The market share for commercial and large-scale power plants increased by 111% and 37% respectively compared to the same period last year.
