ケイライン・ウインド・サービスとActeon 浮体式風力発電事業における協力協定を締結

Keiline Wind Services and Acteon have signed a cooperation agreement for floating wind power projects.

Keiline Wind Services Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "KWS"), a joint venture between Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. and Kawasaki Kinkai Kisen Co., Ltd., and Acteon Group Operations Limited (hereinafter referred to as "Acteon"), an international offshore infrastructure services company, have signed a memorandum of understanding to explore wide-ranging collaboration in demonstration and commercial projects in the floating offshore wind power business in Japan. Both companies will collaborate by combining their respective technologies and services to support the development of floating offshore wind power projects in Japan.

KWS has participated in the NEDO GI Fund Phase 1 from 2021 to 2023, conducting research on mooring construction methods using vessels in large-scale floating wind power plants and continues to work towards demonstration projects and commercialization. Based on the collaboration with Acteon, KWS aims to create a system that provides safer and more efficient mooring construction services using vessels.

Acteon, mainly through its subsidiary InterMoor, is involved in mooring engineering for floating facilities, ranging from design to construction and decommissioning. In the demonstration and commercial projects for floating offshore wind power in Japan, Acteon aims to provide comprehensive mooring engineering support along with KWS.
