Individual investor, Yuugentei Tamisuke: In both Japan and the United States, there are political risks, but focus should be on the performance of stocks 【FISCO Social Reporter】

Since Mr. Biden withdrew from the US presidential election, it was thought that Mr. Trump was the only choice, but it seems that Kamala Harris, who received the baton from Mr. Biden, gathered support from the anti-Trump class and showed a furious catch-up. I still don't know the results...

Once again, my name is Kyusuke Limited, and I'm writing the stock & cat blog “Profitable Stock Information “Cat Husband's Stock Knows No Ceiling”.

It has become clear that both Japan and the US will change their top positions. To be honest, the outlook for how future policy direction will change, both with respect to the United States and Japan, is uncertain. Most investors are conservative and tend to like stable administration.

It is not uncommon for promises made at the time of the election to not be fulfilled at all once they are elected. Nonetheless, since the stock market responds instantaneously when the pledge is announced rather than whether or not the pledge has been fulfilled, it may not be a point to consider feasibility very deeply. If I had to pick a point to keep an eye on, the focus is on whether Japan-US relations are good...

If you think about the future of semiconductor factories like TSMC, the Taiwan emergency is a big risk, and I think it is ideal for candidates with knowledge of national defense and diplomacy, starting with Japan-US relations, to be selected in order not to cause an emergency in Taiwan. Of course, I also want to keep a close eye on economic policies such as finance.

When Mr. Biden took office as president in January 2021, the election was rough due to suspicions such as voter fraud. I wonder what's going to happen this time... That's because individual investors like me can only invest in stocks with performance expectations that can demonstrate solid performance no matter how rough the politics are. The riskier the external environment, the more important it is to check stocks that are expected to perform.

AI CROSS <4476>, which provides SMS distribution services and personnel AI analysis, etc., opened a window and moved rapidly after the financial results were announced on 8/14. It seems that the introduction of the shareholder benefit program was well received, and the chart, which had been on a downward trend, rebounded all at once to the stock price level in June last year. Currently, there are no dividends, but if dividends are implemented, there seems to be a possibility that investment funds will flow in further.

The announcement that Astroscale HD <186A>, which has received a high level of attention as space-related, has signed a memorandum of understanding regarding the possibility of collaboration between the company's subsidiary and Airbus Defence and Space, a subsidiary of Airbus in the UK, was well received. The chart (daily chart) has been on a downward trend since listing, but whether it bottomed out due to the Ueda shock... the chart has turned back and forth, so surveillance is being strengthened.

Cross marketing (3675), where the financial results on 8/9 are good and the sense of depreciation of PER stands out, is also well received by stock buybacks. The company, which develops digital marketing and data marketing, would like to keep a close eye on whether the fact that it started the 3PL business with its consolidated subsidiary Pascreer from 24/5 will also be good news.

Artience <4634>, which also announced financial results on 8/9, was well received by dividend increases and share buybacks in addition to upward revisions. The company, which is the largest printing ink company in Japan, seems to be expanding its performance due to cost reductions and sales price revisions.

Toyo Kanetsu (6369), which develops the logistics solutions business, introduced an interim dividend and announced a total annual dividend increase of 19 yen. As is the case with good performance, I get the impression that the market is appreciating dividend increases recently.

The last one is Nireco (6863), a manufacturer of industrial control equipment and measuring instruments. PBR is split by 1 times, so there's a sense that it's cheap. Although it is a small-cap stock, business performance is also strong, and I would like to firmly strengthen surveillance in the optics business, such as lasers and optical components for the semiconductor manufacturing equipment field.

Well, I've been talking a bit long, but my blog introduces such “individual stocks and theme stocks that are strong now.” If you have free time, please take a look. We look forward to seeing you with our beloved cat “Al.”
