Shanghai Yimin Commercial Group (600824.SH) released its semi-annual report for 2024 on August 26. The report shows that the revenue for the reporting period was 0.516 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 15.17%; the net income attributable to the shareholders of the listed company was 42.7121 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 19.47%; the net profit attributable to the shareholders of the listed company after deducting non-recurring gains and losses was 43.0763 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 0.42%; and the basic earnings per share was 0.041 yuan.
The year-on-year decrease in revenue and net cash flows from operating activities is mainly due to the decrease in gold sales business and the increase in gold inventory in the reporting period.
