Ganfeng Lithium (01772) announced that in order to optimize its debt structure, broaden its financing channels, reduce financing costs, and further meet the needs of its business development, it plans to apply to the China Bankers Association for the registration of medium-term notes not exceeding 5 billion yuan (inclusive) and short-term financing bonds not exceeding 1.5 billion yuan (inclusive) in the China interbank market. Upon successful registration, the issuance will be determined based on market interest rates and the company's funding needs.
The announcement stated that the issuance of medium-term notes and short-term financing bonds will help meet the company's funding needs, expand its financing channels, reduce financing costs, and adjust its liquidity. It will not have any adverse effects on the company's normal production and operation, and will not harm the rights and interests of the company and its shareholders.
