CNOOC (00883) announced its mid-term performance in 2024, with oil and gas sales revenue of 185.11 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 22%; net income attributable to shareholders was 79.73 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 25%; basic earnings per share were 1.68 yuan, and interim dividends per share were 0.74 Hong Kong dollars.
During the period, the Group accelerated the construction of major projects, and oil and gas production reached a new high. Projects such as the Bohai 19-6 Gas Field Block 13-2 Area 5 Well Zone Development Project, Suizhong 36-1/ Luda 5-2 Oil Field Second Adjustment Development Project, and Wushi 23-5 Oil Field Group Development Project were successfully put into production. The company solidly promoted stable and increased production in producing oil fields, implemented refined management, and maintained the best production efficiency. It adhered to fine water injection and stable oil and water control, and the natural decline rate in Chinese waters continued to decrease.
