Jingtai Technology and Xinxiang Group formally signed a 5-year strategic cooperation agreement.

On August 24, under the witness of Jingtai Technology's co-founder and chairman of the board of directors, Wen Shuhao, Xinxiang Group's chairman Zhu Gongshan, and the representative of Suzhou Laboratory, Ma Zhibo, Jingtai Technology and Xinxiang Group officially signed a 5-year strategic cooperation agreement at the Xinxiang Energy Center in Suzhou.

According to the official R&D commissioning agreement, Xinxiang will pay Jingtai Technology an estimated R&D fee of approximately 0.135 billion US dollars (about 1 billion RMB) in instalments based on the progress of the project's R&D. Jingtai Technology will leverage its leading innovative advantages in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) and robotic automation to provide Xinxiang with order-based services for the R&D of high-tech new energy materials in areas such as perovskite, supermolecules, lithium-ion batteries, cathode materials, and carbon-silicon materials, and jointly develop a series of differentiated new materials with industry competitiveness and industrial application potential. At the same time, Jingtai Technology will also create a large-scale material-driven AI + automation intelligent design and production system for Xinxiang, enabling rapid design of new materials/compounds, high customization of functional materials, and efficient development and application of processes to help Xinxiang become an AI-driven new energy company. The two parties also plan to jointly establish a new materials research institute in the Shenzhen River Basin Cooperation Zone to promote the green, low-carbon, and high-quality development of China's energy industry, injecting inexhaustible green and intelligent driving forces into the new industrialization.

This strategic cooperation will deeply integrate the unique intelligent expertise and technological R&D advantages of both parties, focusing precisely on key areas such as perovskite, lithium-ion batteries, cathode materials, and carbon-silicon materials. By relying on advanced language models and leading technologies like multi-agents, they will jointly build a customized large-scale material + automation platform in the AI-empowered new energy industry to promote industrial intelligence and paradigm upgrade for R&D. It is reported that this platform will use AI technology to expand the exploration space and accelerate the design and optimization of new molecules, component allocation, and production processes to obtain new energy materials with expected performance. In addition, combined with automated experimental modules, the platform can quickly complete the preparation and characterization verification of new materials, and feed standardized data back to the AI module, continuously updating AI algorithms. Based on this, this series of AI + automation experimental R&D modules will also achieve cloud-based and localized deployment synergy, helping Xinxiang create a high-growth new energy intelligent laboratory. In the future, this platform will be the first to deeply integrate the customized large-scale material + robot laboratory with industrial scenes, accelerating the transformation process from small-scale testing to large-scale industrial application of new energy materials, laying a solid foundation for the continuous development and upgrade of Xinxiang's R&D ecosystem, and giving birth to a series of new-generation new energy technologies that are more competitive, safe, efficient, and low-carbon.

At the signing ceremony, the two parties announced the establishment of a new material research institute in the Hetao Cooperative Zone of Shenzhen, with the deep experience of Xinjiang Group in new energy, clean energy, and semiconductor fields as the main driver, and in collaboration with industrial partners, strengthen the application incubation of AI in the energy field, accelerate the commercialization of artificial intelligence in the energy industry, and establish a benchmark for AI application in the industry.

Prior to the signing ceremony, Wen Shuhao and his team visited the Xinjiang Future Energy Pavilion and received a briefing on the cutting-edge progress of Suzhou Laboratory in the field of materials science. Suzhou Laboratory is the only national laboratory in Jiangsu Province, carrying out strategic, forward-looking, and fundamental research in the field of materials and the integration of AI technology, and has established extensive cooperation with Xinjiang in multiple fields such as new energy materials development.
