Shanxi Antai Group (600408.SH) announced its semi-annual report on August 29. In the first half of 2024, the company produced a total of 0.808 million tons of coke (including 0.55 million tons of self-produced coke and 0.258 million tons of third-party processed coke), and sold 0.5588 million tons of self-produced coke. The company also produced 0.6176 million tons of H-beams, with sales of 0.5942 million tons. It achieved revenue of 3.694 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 29.37%. The net income attributable to the shareholders of the listed company was -0.183 billion yuan, still a loss compared to the same period last year. This is mainly due to the impact of market fluctuations in the steel and coking industries during the reporting period, as well as insufficient demand in the coke market for the main product, resulting in a decrease in production and sales volume and a continuous decline in selling prices, which exceeded the decline in raw coal prices, leading to continuous losses in coke products.
