"Akita de Workation College"
The ANA Akindo Akita Branch (Location: Akita City, Akita Prefecture, Branch Manager: Hiroshi Kotani, hereinafter "ANA Akindo Akita Branch") will hold an online seminar and workshop to learn about sustainable regional development through the creation of new relationships via workation.
In Akita Prefecture, the "Akita de Workation College" will be held, through which the strengthening of the reception system for workation as a new way of working, aims to establish and expand the relationship between visitors and Akita, and to create a new relationship population. The ANA Akindo Akita Branch has been awarded the project and will plan and operate it.
In Akita Prefecture, efforts are being made to strengthen the reception system for workation, which is one of the new ways of working, and to create a new relationship population, etc., with the aim of establishing and expanding the relationship between visitors and Akita, through the "Akita DE Workation Coordination System Strengthening Project". The ANA Akindo Akita Branch has been awarded this project and will plan and operate it.
In the first online seminar, participants will consider why they are working on workation and specific ways to use workation as a means for sustainable regional development. They will also think about how to create a reception system for the target and region in a workshop format by making it personal.
Furthermore, workshops are scheduled to be held in Oga City and Ugo-cho, Akita Prefecture, targeting local businesses in the region, aiming to clarify the roles of each entity within the region and to build a self-sustaining workation reception system and strengthen the regional network.
For the online seminar and workshop, Mr. Ryota Morishige, from Nanki Shirahama Airport Co., Ltd., who has served as a regional coordinator in Wakayama Prefecture, the birthplace and holy place of workation, and as an advisor for the Tourism Agency's workation project and many other regional advisors nationwide, will be the advisor. Mr. Morishige will consider the future vision of the region using workation along with the participants.
The ANA Akindo Akita Branch will continue to collaborate with the region to work on sustainable initiatives that utilize the abundant local resources of Akita Prefecture and strive to disseminate Akita's regional issue-oriented content and attractiveness to create new relationships and exchange interactions.
