Bank of Beijing (601169.SH) announced its semi-annual report for 2024 on August 30. In the first half of 2024, the company has made solid progress in various businesses by taking on responsibilities and overcoming difficulties. During the reporting period, the company achieved revenue of 35.544 billion yuan, a year-on-year growth of 6.37%; net income attributable to shareholders of the parent company was 14.579 billion yuan, a year-on-year growth of 2.39%; and basic earnings per share was 0.66 yuan, a year-on-year growth of 1.54%.
During the reporting period, the company's various business scales maintained steady growth. As of the end of the reporting period, the total assets of the company were 3.95 trillion yuan, an increase of 5.25% compared to the beginning of the year; the total principal amount of loans and advances disbursed was 2.17 trillion yuan, an increase of 7.56% compared to the beginning of the year. The total liabilities were 3.61 trillion yuan, an increase of 5.44% compared to the beginning of the year; and the total principal amount of deposits absorbed was 2.34 trillion yuan, an increase of 13.18% compared to the beginning of the year.
