U.S. stock futures were higher this morning, with the Nasdaq futures gaining around 100 points on Friday.
Shares of Ulta Beauty, Inc. (NASDAQ:ULTA) fell sharply in today's pre-market trading after the company reported weaker-than-expected results for its second quarter and cut its FY24 guidance.
Ulta Beauty reported quarterly earnings of $5.30 per share, which missed the analyst consensus estimate of $5.55 by 4.5%. Quarterly sales came in at $2.552 billion, missing the consensus estimate by 2.52%.
Ulta Beauty shares dipped 6.4% to $344.03 in pre-market trading.

- Dianthus Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ:DNTH) fell 2.3% to $28.10 in pre-market trading.
- Eos Energy Enterprises, Inc. (NASDAQ:EOSE) declined 2.2% to $2.71 in pre-market trading after jumping 26% on Thursday.
- Nokia Oyj (NYSE:NOK) fell 2.2% to $4.38 in pre-market trading. Nokia shares gained 7% on Thursday following a report suggesting that Samsung has an interest in the company's mobile networks assets.
