Zall Smartcom (02098) released its performance for the six months ended June 30, 2024, and the group achieved revenue of 68.276 billion yuan (RMB, the same below), an increase of 24.29% compared to the previous year; the net profit attributable to equity shareholders of the company was 49.817 million yuan, an increase of 122.76% compared to the previous year; and the basic earnings per share was 0.4 fen.
The announcement stated that the increase was mainly due to the increase in revenue from supply chain management and trading business. For the six months ended June 30, 2024, the revenue contribution from supply chain management and trading business accounted for approximately 99.7% of the total revenue of the group, an increase of approximately 24.5% compared to the same period last year, due to the expansion of the scale of supply chain management and trading business.
The group's core project, Wuhan North International Trade City (Hankou North), has now formed 30 large-scale comprehensive professional market clusters, including small commodities, branded clothing, hotel supplies, used cars, and fresh food ingredients. It has also constructed themed commercial blocks such as Hankou Town, Wanguo Town, Wuhan 1980, and Carnival Theme Park, as well as characteristic business and trade towns such as Flower Town, Flavor Town, and Luxury Car Town.
