European Nissan, a subsidiary of Nissan Motor Co, based in Nishi-ku, Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, led the SilenC and announced a partnership with Axiona on the ultra-compact electric mobility, which is ideal for city driving. European Nissan will sell the ultra-compact EV "Nano S04" and electric bikes in France and Italy from June 2024, Germany from September, and the UK from October.

The "Nano S04" lineup consists of 2 grades, L6e and L7e, to meet all driving needs in the city. The range is 175km for L6e and 149km for L7e. The maximum speed is 45km/h for L6e and 85km/h for L7e.

The "Nano S04" is equipped with 5.6kWh batteries and can be charged directly or have the charged batteries exchanged at the Axiona Battery Station. The removable battery also allows for easy charging at home or the office. Using the battery through a monthly subscription contract can reduce vehicle acquisition cost by up to 30%.

Additionally, the car comes equipped with the "My Silence" app, allowing for keyless entry, location tracking, checking range and battery charge status, and other advanced digital services through button operations.

Leon Dorres, Senior Vice President of Marketing & Sales for the AMIEO (Africa, Middle East, India, Europe, Oceania) region at Nissan, stated, "Towards the future of electrification, we will continue to meet diverse needs. Through the partnership with Axiona, we aim to provide exciting electric mobility to more customers and allow them to experience the appeal of EVs."

Carlos Sotelo, CEO of Axiona's Mobility Business and Silence, expressed, "The driving needs in urban areas continue to evolve. What is demanded for urban transportation, including commuting, is to be smarter, smaller, and lighter. Silence's electric mobility, through a partnership with Nissan's strong sales network, will provide exciting new options for urban mobility in Europe and build a more sustainable future."
