On the news front, on September 2, China Northern Rare Earth announced the listed prices of products for September 2024. Among them, praseodymium neodymium oxide was reported at 0.4032 million yuan/ton, a 4.78% increase from August; neodymium oxide was reported at 0.4116 million yuan/ton, a 4.68% increase from August; praseodymium neodymium metal was reported at 0.5 million yuan/ton, a 4.6% increase from August; neodymium metal was reported at 0.51 million yuan/ton, a 4.51% increase from August.

In the first half of this year, affected by factors such as a substantial decrease in rare earth raw material prices, delayed execution of individual locked-in orders, and intensified industry competition, the net income of jl mag rare-earth came under pressure. The company's net income attributable to shareholders in the first half of the year was 0.12 billion yuan, a decrease of 64.02% compared to the same period last year. Sinolink Securities pointed out that the significant increase in demand in the second half of the year, especially in the fourth quarter, combined with the formal implementation of the 'Regulations' (October 1), which strictly restricts non-compliant supplies, is expected to bring about a significant improvement in the supply and demand of rare earths in the second half of the year, especially in the fourth quarter.
