Xu Yunming, the director and general manager of Zhejiang Lante Optics, told "Science and Technology Board Daily" reporters at the 2024 semi-annual earnings conference.
AI glasses will realize the integration of perception, interaction modules with functions such as camera, audio, and the glasses form, and adopt AI big model technology to provide intelligent services for users.
Xu Yunming further stated, "Whether the 'imaging module' can be effectively applied and solve related cost, endurance experience and other issues, is the key to the next stage of AR head-mounted iteration for AI glasses. The company is actively conducting project pre-research and technical reserve work, and has carried out extensive cooperation with downstream suppliers in the supply chain." The financial report shows that the company's core multilayer waveguide chip processing technology R&D project for AR glasses is in the research and development stage.

At the earnings conference, Zhejiang Lante Optics' other main product, micro-prisms, also attracted the attention of many investors. In recent years, with the continuous maturity of periscope lens technology, mobile phone manufacturers have begun to research and introduce new types of micro-prisms.
