Toei Animation Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nakano-ku, Tokyo, President: Katsuhito Takagi) and Toyjiu Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo, Chairman: Yoshifumi Mori) will announce the indie game title "Noroi Kago GeGeGe no Yoru" based on the original work of "GeGeGe no Kitaro".
This work will be the first indie game using Toei Animation's work, and will also be exhibited at the "Tokyo Game Show 2024" to be held from September 26th to 29th this year.

- The true horror of yokai...immersing in Japanese-style horror with friends
"Noroi Kago GeGeGe no Yoru" is a cooperative escape Japanese-style horror game. With a maximum of four players in online cooperative play, the goal is to escape from the enclosed space haunted by yokai. Unlike previous "GeGeGe no Kitaro" games, the focus is on the horror of yokai and is currently in development.
This work adopts an art style with strong contrast between light and shadow to convey the atmosphere of Japanese and the sense of fear. Inspired by the original work of Mr. Shigeru Mizuki, the creator of "GeGeGe no Kitaro," this art style further enhances the fear of the lurking yokai in the dark.
