  • 00:00 The iPhone 16, what's different?
  • 00:02 That's the question every year.
  • 00:04 What's actually going to make me upgrade this time around?
  • 00:08 Well, if you have an iPhone 15 Pro or Pro Max, I don't necessarily think you're going to upgrade this year unless you get a pretty good deal or you're on an upgrade path, right?
  • 00:17 The changes here are going to be on the more incremental side.
  • 00:20 They're going to focus on Apple Intelligence, which of course the 15 Pro
  • 00:27 in pro Max will already support.
  • 00:30 And then there's also going to be some major upgrades on the camera.
  • 00:33 The ultra wide lens is going to move to a 48
  • 00:37 megapixel to match the the standard lens.
  • 00:39 But if you're coming from an older phone, if you're coming from a 14 or earlier, getting Apple Intelligence, getting there's no cameras, getting the titanium,
  • 00:47 those are going to be some nice upgrades.
  • 00:49 There's going to be some new colors as well.
  • 00:52 The most significant feature is going to be a new camera button on the right side of the phone next, below the power button
  • 00:58 that you'll be able to use, take pictures and videos.
  • 01:01 It's going to be capacitive, so you can swipe on it to zoom in and out, move between still and video.
  • 01:07 So that's going to be a nice upgrade there.
  • 01:09 So it's really all about AI
  • 01:11 and the camera.
  • 01:12 The bigger changes of course, will come to the Apple Watch and the Air Pods.
  • 01:16 Bless you, Mark.
  • 01:17 Just talk to us about the Airpods and the Watch.
  • 01:19 What do we anticipate there?
  • 01:21 How big a change?
  • 01:23 So this is going to actually be
  • 01:26 the 10 year anniversary to the date of the original Apple Watch introduction in 2014.
  • 01:32 And you're going to see a a new Series 10 watch that's going to have displays that's a little bit bigger.
  • 01:37 You're going to see faster processors.
  • 01:39 You're going to see sleep apnea detection as a major new health feature.
  • 01:43 You're also going to see that sleep apnea detection come to the Apple Watch Ultra, though that will retain the same design
  • 01:49 that's been running since the introduction in 2022.
  • 01:52 Airpods, Apples revamping the low end of the line.
  • 01:55 So you're going to see a new entry level and mid tier Airpods bringing noise cancellation down the line from the pro models for the first time.
  • 02:02 You're going to see quite a boost there to Apples wearables business between the new watches and the new Airpods.
  • 02:07 And I think that's going to be quite exciting
  • 02:09 for customers who who have been waiting for a new version of the Airpods.
