Kuaishou's Ke Ling AI launches China's first AIGC director co-creation program.
On September 9th, Kuaishou (01024) officially announced the launch of the "Ke Ling AI" movie co-creation program, collaborating with 9 top directors including Li Shaohong, Jia Zhangke, Ye Jintian, Xue Xiaolu, Yu Baimai, Dong Runnian, Zhang Chiyu, Wang Zichuan, and Wang Maomao to release 9 AIGC movie shorts. It is reported that all 9 shorts will be generated by Ke Ling AI through video generation, and the movie directors will rely entirely on video generation models for deep involvement in movie-level content creation, which is a first in China.
Gai Kun, Senior Vice President of Kuaishou and Head of the Main Station Business and Community Science, stated that Ke Ling AI and 9 famous Chinese directors have jointly initiated the AIGC movie short co-creation program. The aim is to explore the boundaries of new technology in film and television creation and production through the fusion of cinematic humanities and AIGC technology. As pioneers, we hope to seize the historic opportunity of industry intelligence upgrading together with the film and television industry, and jointly explore the new industry ecology and industrial new pattern of generative AI.
