Zhitong Finance App News, Gaoshi Healthcare (02407) announced that Shenzhen Gaoshi Technology Co., Ltd. (Gaoshi Technology), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, has recently signed a technology transfer, development and commercialization agreement with Geuder AG (Goethe), an important upstream partner of the Group in Germany, to introduce technology related to the world's leading ultra-breast surgery system (including equipment and supporting consumables), and commercialize it at the Group's Shenzhen base, and commercialize it for specific markets around the world.

The ultra-breast hysterectomy system introduced in this collaboration (including equipment and supporting consumables) is mainly used in the treatment of cataracts and fundus diseases. Cataracts are the most common eye disease in the world. According to statistics from the Ophthalmology Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, the incidence of cataracts among people aged 60 to 89 in China is 80%, while the incidence of cataracts among people aged 90 and over has reached more than 90%. As China's population ages, the number of cataract patients will continue to grow, and the number of ultrasound emulsification surgeries will show a long-term growth trend. The main surgical method for fundus disease is vitrectomy, abbreviated as hysterectomy, a general term for a major type of fundus (retinal) surgery. In ophthalmology treatment centers in developed countries, vitreous surgery is the second major ophthalmology surgery after cataract removal and intraocular lens implantation. It takes a long time and is very difficult to perform. It is a major ophthalmology operation. Whether it is ultrasonic emulsification surgery or vitrectomy, advanced surgical equipment and supporting consumables are an important guarantee for successful surgery.

The technical barriers to all-in-one ultra-emulsion glass cutting machines are high. Currently, the demand for all-in-one ultra-emulsion glass cutting machines in China depends on imports, and there is no domestically produced equipment on the market yet. Gaoshi Technology's partner in introducing and commercializing this technology, has been committed to innovative solutions in the field of ultra-breast glass cutting for decades. The cooperation between the two parties uses the method of “technology transfer fee+future sales revenue share”, covering products including ultra-breast equipment, ultra-breast cutting machines and various supporting consumables. It not only further enriches the Group's ophthalmic surgery product portfolio and provides customers with product solutions, but also further consolidates the Group's R&D production capacity and diversified layout of its own products through technology introduction and redevelopment after successfully building its own R&D center and domestic and foreign mergers and acquisitions.
