1) Company news

China Taibao (02601.HK): In the first 8 months, Pacific Life obtained cumulative original premium income of 191.729 billion yuan, up 1.5% year on year; Pacific Financial Insurance received cumulative original insurance premium income of 142.235 billion yuan, up 7.7% year on year; total 333.964 billion yuan, up 4.1% year on year.

Datang New Energy (01798.HK): A total of 20.8117 million megawatt-hours of power generation was completed in the first 8 months, a decrease of 0.54% over the previous year. Among them, wind power decreased by 5.46% year on year, and photovoltaic power generation increased by 57.69% year on year.

Li Jiande Group (08455.HK): The estimated total number of contracts awarded in July and August is expected to decrease by about 40% over the same period last year.

Volkswagen Public Service (01635): Volkswagen Supply Chain, Volkswagen Logistics and Volkswagen Enterprise Management have entered into a joint venture agreement to establish a joint venture.

According to the announcement, the name of the joint venture is proposed to be Shanghai Dazhong Green Energy Development Co., Ltd. The scope of business includes but is not limited to motor vehicle charging sales, electric vehicle charging infrastructure operation, NEV charging and switching facility construction and operation, solar power generation technology services, and NEV vehicle sales.

China Petroleum & Chemical Co., Ltd. (00386.HK): As of September 11, Sinopec Group and its wholly-owned subsidiaries have increased their total holdings of the company's shares by 0.273 billion, accounting for 0.22% of the company's total issued shares, with a cumulative increase of 1.187 billion yuan. According to reports, Sinopec Group will continue to take the opportunity to increase its shares in accordance with the plan to increase its holdings in the future.

Tencent Holdings (00700.HK): spent HK$1.001 billion to repurchase 2.72 million shares at a repurchase price of HK$356.2 to HK$370.6.
