According to the news, yesterday the monthly PPI and core PPI rates in the US recorded 0.2% and 0.3% respectively, both higher than expected but the previous values were lowered; the number of jobless claims in the US rose moderately to 0.23 million at the beginning of last week. Furthermore, in the Eurozone, the ECB cut interest rates for the second time in the year, lowering the deposit mechanism interest rate by 25 basis points to 3.50%, the lowest level since June 2023. Affected by this, the price of silver soared. Spot silver once surpassed $30 per ounce, the first time since August 28.
