Simply Wall St ·  Sep 15 08:14

Whilst it may not be a huge deal, we thought it was good to see that the Neusoft Education Technology Co. Limited (HKG:9616) Non-Executive Chairman of the Board, Jiren Liu, recently bought HK$488k worth of stock, for HK$2.26 per share. Although the purchase is not a big one, by either a percentage standpoint or absolute value, it can be seen as a good sign.

The Last 12 Months Of Insider Transactions At Neusoft Education Technology

Notably, that recent purchase by Jiren Liu is the biggest insider purchase of Neusoft Education Technology shares that we've seen in the last year. That implies that an insider found the current price of HK$2.31 per share to be enticing. Of course they may have changed their mind. But this suggests they are optimistic. While we always like to see insider buying, it's less meaningful if the purchases were made at much lower prices, as the opportunity they saw may have passed. The good news for Neusoft Education Technology share holders is that an insider was buying at near the current price. Jiren Liu was the only individual insider to buy during the last year.

Jiren Liu purchased 1.08m shares over the year. The average price per share was HK$2.60. The chart below shows insider transactions (by companies and individuals) over the last year. If you want to know exactly who sold, for how much, and when, simply click on the graph below!
