C&D International Investment Group Limited (HKG:1908) shareholders (or potential shareholders) will be happy to see that the Executive Director, Meitan Tian, recently bought a whopping HK$10m worth of stock, at a price of HK$10.24. That increased their holding by a full 665%, which arguably implies the sort of confidence required for a shy sweet-natured nerd to ask the most popular kid in the school to go out on a date.

The Last 12 Months Of Insider Transactions At C&D International Investment Group

Notably, that recent purchase by Meitan Tian is the biggest insider purchase of C&D International Investment Group shares that we've seen in the last year. We do like to see buying, but this purchase was made at well below the current price of HK$11.60. While it does suggest insiders consider the stock undervalued at lower prices, this transaction doesn't tell us much about what they think of current prices.

Happily, we note that in the last year insiders paid HK$27m for 2.32m shares. On the other hand they divested 826.00k shares, for HK$14m. In the last twelve months there was more buying than selling by C&D International Investment Group insiders. Their average price was about HK$11.73. These transactions suggest that insiders have considered the current price attractive.
