Jaeger-LeCoultre's 'Exquisite Art' Exhibition opened in Beijing.

On September 14th, Swiss watchmaking workshop Jaeger-LeCoultre held the first exhibition of the 'Exquisite Art' (The Precision Pioneer) theme in China at Wangfujing, Beijing. On the opening night of the exhibition, Jaeger-LeCoultre joined hands with Jaeger-LeCoultre's global ambassador Yiyang Qianxi, Jaeger-LeCoultre's best friend Wang Shun, as well as Zhang Ziyi, Gigi Leung, Julian Cheung, Zhu Zhu, Wang Xingyue, and Wu Qianyu to hold a celebration event. The exhibition is open to the public for free from September 14th to October 3rd.

On the opening night, Chinese light painting artist Wang Sibo (Roy Wang) presented an on-site light painting show with his iconic theme, 'Dragon.' During the exhibition, a light show will be held every night, and four art pieces specially commissioned by Jaeger-LeCoultre and created by Wang Sibo will be exhibited as independent installations on Wangfujing Street. In addition, Jaeger-LeCoultre has commissioned Michelin two-star chef Himanshu Saini to create delicious dishes and paired beverages. Guests are invited to embark on a unique gastronomic journey in the 'Precision Atelier,' enjoying the wonderful fusion of Swiss and Indian flavors. Both of these collaborations are specially commissioned by Jaeger-LeCoultre under the theme of 'Made of Makers,' which aims to enrich the dialogue between watchmaking and other art forms through a series of artistic collaborations.

This exhibition unveils two new limited edition exceptional complications timepieces, showcasing the exquisite decorative craftsmanship of Jaeger-LeCoultre's Rare Crafts workshop. The Master Hybris Artistica Calibre 945 timepiece features a hand-engraved bezel and a three-dimensional dragon dial, combined with the northern hemisphere's sky dome, creating a stunning interplay between the dragon and the starry sky. This exceptional timepiece also combines astronomical complications and minute repeater function, with the Cosmotourbillon astronomical flying tourbillon completing a full rotation on the dial, representing a sidereal day. The Master Hybris Artistica Calibre 184 timepiece from the exceptional complications master series 184 uses a new dial design, reinterpreting the fifth generation of the Gyrotourbillon spherical tourbillon with delicate gold wire patterns accentuated by black grand feu enamel. Through the smoked black transparent sapphire crystal, the perpetual calendar disc is clearly visible.

Visitors at the exhibition can delve into Jaeger-LeCoultre's pursuit of exquisite art through four chapters: "Precision manufacturing and decoration", "Precision astronomical timing", "Precision adjustment mechanism", and "Precision complex functions". The exhibition features an audiovisual hall that focuses on the craftsmanship and watchmaking art related to precision, showcasing 180 types of watchmaking techniques mastered by Jaeger-LeCoultre's integrated grand workshop. The "In the Making" series of short films unveils the behind-the-scenes story of Jaeger-LeCoultre's grand workshop, with each film introducing the exquisite craftsmanship of different processes such as design, production, finishing, assembly, and decoration of watches.

In addition, audiences can also watch live demonstrations of two important watchmaking techniques: pearl guilloché decoration and movement assembly. They also have the opportunity to experience these techniques. In the newly opened Jaeger-LeCoultre flagship store just three minutes' walk from the "The Precision Pioneer" theme exhibition, all visitors can explore and experience the fascinating charm of the watchmaking world through the Antoine Watchmaking Master Theme Workshop (Atelier d'Antoine).

Yunji Group held the third "Leap Her Shadow in the West Bank" Contemporary Dance Festival.

From September 21st to 22nd, the global high-end boutique group, Yunji Group, joined forces with the Shanghai West Bank Art Museum to present the third "Leap Her Shadow in the West Bank" Contemporary Dance Festival. Coinciding with the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France, this event invited three choreographers from both China and France, who have original vocabulary in exploring the body, to bring original works, showcasing the creativity and thinking power in the field of contemporary female choreography and promoting cultural and artistic exchanges between the two countries.

Curated by senior performing arts curator and producer Ge Huichao, this dance festival has "Body Matters" as its theme, combining various forms such as film, thematic dialogues, workshops, and improvisation parties to explore women, bodies, and spaces through the ancient language of dance, and to write about contemporary beauty and freedom.

French mid-generation choreographer Julie Nioche and Chinese first-generation choreographer Hou Ying collaborate for the first time to create a duet called "One Stone, One Bird" (Differences). These two experienced dancers with more than 30 years of dance experience take the differences in physical texture and cultural memory as the inspiration starting point, and use improvisational dance as a method to achieve mutual understanding and respect. In Julie Nioche's other work, "L'impassé-e", she collaborates with young Chinese dancers to create an interactive performance, exploring a new way to warm the connection between artists and audience. Young Chinese choreographer Gu Jianni brings a brand new work called "Fold" (Morphing) in a minimalist version, using sharp and fierce movements to reflect on the acceleration of modern time on life.

During the event, "Leap Her Shadow in the West Bank" invited choreographers, renowned scholars, and curators to actively engage the public in intellectual collision and physical practice. The dance workshop leads participants to experience "flow in restrictions", relaxing and directly linking the body and the inner self, and becoming aware of the relationship between time, space, and the environment. The improvisation party at night invites choreographers, dancers, musicians, and audiences to enjoy the joy of dance together.

In addition, the opening night also presented a special short film called 'Body Matters' created for this year's 'Dancing Her Image in the West Bank' event. The narrative journey starts from Kathmandu, Nepal, then travels to Nantes, France, and finally to Beijing and Shanghai, documenting the physical and spiritual journey of three choreographers.

i.t blue block Shanghai flagship store officially opened on September 13th at Xintiandi Plaza in Shanghai. In recent years, 'Little i.t', under the I.T Group, which has been highly sought after by young people, has gradually upgraded to i.t blue block.
