At the Huawei Autumn New Product Launch held on September 24th, many new products were unveiled, including the new generation flagship smartwatch Huawei WATCH GT 5 series, Huawei Sound Joy 2, Huawei Router BE7 series, Huawei Smart Screen product V5 Max 110, and Intelligent World R7.

Of particular note, the highly anticipated Huawei native HarmonyOS NEXT system will start public testing on October 8th.

"In a little over a year, we have covered the path that foreign operating systems have taken over more than a decade, thanks to our silent partners and Huawei employees." In addition, there are new developments in the Hongmeng Smart Automobile series. According to Yu Chengdong, as of September 9th, the pre-orders for Intelligent World M9 have exceeded 0.14 million units; in less than 2 weeks, pre-orders for Intelligent World R7 have surpassed 0.03 million units. It is understood that the Max and Ultra versions of Intelligent World R7 will begin mass deliveries on October 15th, while the Pro version will start mass deliveries on November 15th.

The "pure blood" version of the HarmonyOS system will go into public testing, and Huawei's largest smart screen is on its way.

Since its first appearance in 2019, the HarmonyOS system has undergone four major iterations, with a global installation base exceeding 0.9 billion.

On January 18, 2024, Huawei announced that HarmonyOS NEXT (Native Hongmeng) Hongmeng Xinge version is fully open for application to developers. Earlier this year, Huawei's rotating chairman Xu Zhijun stated that this year is critical for building the HarmonyOS system.

It is reported that HarmonyOS NEXT has achieved complete independent research and development from the operating system kernel, file system, programming languages, AI frameworks, and large models, and is not compatible with Android. After the long-awaited premiere of Huawei Hongmong's first coupe SUV, the asia vets R7, during this conference, it has started receiving large orders.

Recently, a reporter from the Star Daily visited the Huawei Hongmong smart travel direct store and learned from the sales department that the display cars had just arrived at the store on the morning of the conference day. Currently, some models can be delivered first, while other models need to wait for order information to be collected before production scheduling.

It is introduced that the ZHIJIE R7 is equipped with the Tuling platform chassis, 800V high-voltage battery platform, maximum range of 802km, supports HUAWEI ADS 3.0 advanced intelligent driving system and HarmonyOS 4 smart cabin.

Yu Chengdong once stated that the Tesla Model Y is a very excellent product in the pure electric SUV market in terms of sales volume. The goal of ZHIJIE R7 is to be even better than it, and to compete with Tesla Model Y by surpassing the specifications of Tesla Model X.

It is understood that ZHIJIE R7 is the second model of cooperation between Chery and Huawei Hongmeng Zhihang. Previously, ZHIJIE S7 had experienced two releases due to insufficient production capacity. The industry is particularly concerned about the production performance of Huawei and Chery's cooperative models.

Yu Chengdong responded at the press conference that each ZHIJIE R7 is sold at a loss of 30,000 yuan, hoping to increase delivery volume and reduce costs through cooperation with Chery.

According to Yu Chengdong, the ZHIJIE R7 display vehicles have been introduced to more than 200 stores nationwide, and more stores will be unlocked in the future.

A reporter from the Star Market Daily learned that not all stores can display Huawei's ZHIJIE models, with only some stores having display vehicles of the WENJIE M5 and M7 series.

A salesperson at the Huawei Hongmeng Zhihang direct store told reporters from the Star Market Daily: "The types of display vehicles in direct stores are definitely the most complete. Dealers' stores need to apply for and obtain qualifications to display corresponding models."

The staff member also added that the ZHIJIE R7 is now starting to collect configuration information for bulk production. A batch of specific configurations of Max and Ultra versions will be available for direct delivery around mid-October. This mainly includes versions with apricot-colored interior with gray and silver car paint. Other color schemes will have specific production schedules after October 15th.
