On October 2, 2024, Star Shine Holdings (01440.HK) announced that on October 2, 2024, Hopsing Limited (a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company) entered into a non-legally binding memorandum of understanding with Asia Partners IFBD Limited ("Asia Partners"), regarding potential cooperation to host a touring exhibition of a famous Portuguese footballer's museum brand in Hong Kong.
The Group is engaged in the footwear business, including the design, research and development, procurement, marketing, quality control, and sales of footwear, and has successfully attracted international footwear brands as clients of the Group. The Group has been actively seeking appropriate business cooperation with well-known brands to develop its own commodities (including footwear) in order to implement a strategy of enriching the Group's customer portfolio.
The board of directors believes that the potential cooperation under the memorandum of understanding (if realized) will provide valuable opportunities for the Group to establish strategic cooperation relationships with world-renowned brands. This initiative will not only enhance the corporate image and market position of the Group but also provide opportunities for the Group to expand its business. The Board also believes that this potential cooperation will bring world-class sports and cultural events to Hong Kong, aligning with Hong Kong's brand image as an international metropolis and event hub in Asia, and help promote Hong Kong's sports tourism industry. Therefore, the board of directors believes that the potential cooperation under the memorandum of understanding is in line with the overall interests of the company and shareholders.
