前場に注目すべき3つのポイント~ハイテク株の押し目狙い~

Three key points to focus on in the morning session - Targeting opportunities in high-tech stocks -

Fisco Japan ·  Oct 9 07:41

I would like to pay attention to the following 3 points in the pre-market transaction on the 9th.

■Aiming to boost high-tech stocks

■J-Front, 2Q operating profit up 100.0% to 39.3 billion yen

■Notable materials at the front: JTEKT, new factory in the seal, production of electric power steering systems, etc.

■Aiming to boost high-tech stocks

The Japanese stock market on the 9th is likely to develop in a market where the stalemate will gradually intensify after starting with pre-purchase. The NY Dow rose 126 dollars and the NASDAQ was 259 points higher in the US market on the 8th. When President Williams and the like of the NY Federal Reserve suggested that options for small interest rate cuts would continue, there was also a scene where they turned to a temporary cut. However, in addition to a movement to buy back mainly main stocks due to soft landing expectations in response to a decline in crude oil futures prices, high-tech such as NVIDIA was bought due to strong demand expectations for artificial intelligence (AI), and it became a form of driving the market price. The Chicago Nikkei 225 futures settlement value is 39375 yen, which is 415 yen higher than Osaka. The yen exchange rate is hovering in the 148-yen 20 yen range per dollar.

Since the Nikkei Stock Average is falling in line with Chicago futures, it seems that buying will take precedence. Large tech stocks such as Apple and Amazon.com were bought back in the US, and NVIDIA continued to grow for 5 business days, leading to an increase led by high-tech stocks. As a result, it seems to be expected that high-tech stocks, etc. will drive the Nikkei Average with values that have a large index impact. Advantest <6857> continued to grow for 4 business days until the day before, and it is close to the high price of 7456 yen on 2/16, and if the high price is updated, it will lead to brighter sentiment.

Also, there was a scene where Nikkei 225 futures were temporarily bought up to 39,520 yen during the night session, and it ended at 39410 yen, which is 450 yen higher than during the day. Immediately after the start, it was sold up to 38830 yen, but +1 σ of Bollinger Bands was viewed as a support line. The Nikkei Stock Average has also fallen to +1σ due to adjustments the day before, so it would be easy to be aware of a rebound from the same level.

However, it is difficult to expect aggressive upward price tracking due to the tense situation in the Middle East. It seems that a wide range of stocks will be bought in the morning from businesses related to the index, but the search targets will gradually be narrowed down. While there is a possibility that this feeling will intensify after a round of buying, in addition to aiming to promote high-tech stocks, it seems that trading aimed at short-term price ranges with stocks with themes related to policies will take center stage. Also, the summary of the US Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) proceedings will be announced in the United States on the 9th. There are times when the US Consumer Price Index (CPI) for September is being announced on the next 10th, so I would like to determine the results.

■J-Front, 2Q operating profit up 100.0% to 39.3 billion yen

The results for the second quarter of the fiscal year ending 2025/2 announced by J-Front <3086> were sales revenue of 209.3 billion 68 million yen, up 9.3% from the same period last year, and operating profit of 39.3 billion64 million yen, up 100% from the same period last year. In addition to the fact that domestic sales remained steady, sales revenue increased from the same period last year against the backdrop of strong inbound sales, etc., business profit increased from the same period last year, and interim profit attributable to owners of parent companies increased from the same period last year, resulting in record highs at each profit stage.
