About Toray's initiatives at the Ariake Urban Sports Park

(1) "&+ (And Plus)" Recycled PET bottle recycling program
"&+" started selling as PET bottle recycling fiber collected in Japan from January 2020. Since then, "&+" has positioned itself not just as a brand of fiber material, but as an initiative to resonate with and involve consumers who are highly concerned about environmental issues in the recycling story of sorting and collecting resources, producing and selling environmentally friendly products using it as raw material, and further purchasing those products, as the "&+" brand.
We have installed PET bottle collection boxes in this facility, in which PET bottles collected within the facility are recycled into high-quality fibers using Toray's technology, and part of the raw material is utilized for facility staff uniforms, achieving resource circulation within the facility.
The collection boxes are designed to separate PET bottles, labels, caps, and remaining liquids, allowing visitors to separate them themselves, deepen their participation and understanding of the recycling program, and continue to aim for the realization of a sustainable society.
* The staff uniforms at the time of opening use "&+" made from PET bottles collected in Japan as part of the material.
