MPOC's Business Matching Initiative Closes RM1.24 Billion In Sales

The Malaysian Palm Oil Council brought together over 100 buyers from 30 countries, including key players in the oils & fats and food industries from regions such as the Asia Pacific, South Asia, Middle East, Africa, and Eastern Europe for the business matching event which saw over RM1.24 billion in sales generated.

A total of 24 Malaysian suppliers participated in the event, engaging in valuable business discussions with international delegates to explore trade opportunities and expand their reach in these markets.

The day-long interactions saw Malaysian suppliers reporting the highest number of inquiries from the African region, followed by the Asia Pacific, Middle East, India, and Central Asia. This strong interest highlights the growing demand for Malaysian palm oil in these markets and the effectiveness of focused engagement efforts.

Commenting on the success of the BizMatch, MPOC CEO Ms. Belvinder Sron said, "The high level of interest from regions such as Africa, ASEAN, and Central Asia align perfectly with MPOC's ongoing marketing and promotional efforts.
