GeoLink reported on October 11th that Yuanchen Technology (688659.SH) recently announced the signing of a technical development (commission) contract with the National Key Laboratory of Coal Combustion and Low-Carbon Utilization at Huazhong University of Science and Technology. The total investment amount for this project collaboration is 15 million yuan, with the company investing 3.75 million yuan in self-owned funds, and the remaining amount to be invested over four years based on project profits. There may be risks of investment performance falling below expectations and losses in self-owned fund investments.
This cooperative project focuses primarily on the intelligent metallurgy field, integrating intelligent industrial model control technology with metallurgical principles to achieve research and application of integrated metallurgical intelligent model system technology. Focusing on typical process scenarios in steelmaking and metallurgy such as raw material preparation, sintering, pelletizing, blast furnaces, etc., the project aims to deeply analyze the energy-saving and emission reduction potential of processes, links, and control points. Based on advanced online detection equipment, metallurgical principles, and data-driven principles, mathematical modeling, software analysis, and intelligent industrial control system research and development will be conducted to address issues in metallurgical process high energy consumption, high material consumption, difficult online detection, and black box operations, in order to help the steel industry achieve high-quality development characterized by high efficiency, low consumption, and intelligence. The project is mainly divided into four research directions: (1) Research and application of clean and efficient combustion technology with fuel flexibility for coal-fired boilers; (2) Research and application of key technologies for wide-load intelligent and safe combustion in coal-fired boilers; (3) Research and application of SCR all-condition adaptive intelligent precise ammonia spray control technology; (4) Research on low-carbon combustion technology and high-precision CO2 measurement monitoring technology for thermal power units.
