Tea Baidao opens its first store in Hong Kong, and fresh fruit teas such as poplar nectar are highly sought after
On October 11, the first Chabaidao store in Hong Kong officially opened. Although it first entered the Hong Kong market, Chabaidao attracted many passers-by to check in at the beginning of the store's construction. On the day of opening, consumers lined up early. The average waiting time was 2 hours, and the consumption was full of enthusiasm. Huang Zongze, a tea tasting officer at Cha Baidao, appeared on the scene and recommended poplar nectar, a classic drink from Cha Baidao, to consumers, bringing the atmosphere to a climax.
“In the past, when I visited Chengdu, I had to drink 100 courses of poplar nectar every day. After returning to Hong Kong, I still often remember it, and now I can drink it in Hong Kong.” A local Hong Kong customer said at the scene. Poplar nectar is a classic Hong Kong-style dessert. Tea Baidao pioneered a new way to drink Yangji Ganlu, turning desserts into drinks, from bowls to cups, broadening the consumption scene and customer base of this category. In 2023 alone, this product sold nearly 100 million cups. During the trial period, Yangzhi Ganlu also became a super item at the Cha Baidao Hong Kong store.
The first Cha Baidao store in Hong Kong is located on the famous Sai Yeung Choi Street South in Mongkok, Hong Kong. The many advertising light boxes, and the patchwork of tall commercial buildings and residential buildings make this neighborhood a street scene unique to Hong Kong. It is also the preferred place for foreign visitors to the Mongkok City Walk. Tea Baidao can get a streetfront store here, which shows its determination and strength in developing the Hong Kong market.
In addition to having a prime location, as a Hong Kong-listed company, Chabaidao already has a certain popularity in Hong Kong. At the beginning of the store's construction, passers-by often came to check in front of its panda fence. On the “message wall” specially designed for fans, comments such as “Business is booming,” “All the best,” and “Getting Better,” as well as signatures from fans all over the world, are enough to show their attention and expectations for Chabaidao.
In 2008, Chabaidao was established in Chengdu. By the end of June this year, Chabaidao had surpassed 8,000 stores (8,385) and had entered the markets of South Korea, Thailand, Australia and other countries.
