Bitcoin spot etf had a positive net inflow at the end of the past week, marking the second consecutive week of increase. While the four major Bitcoin spot etfs contributed to these inflows, the fund flow of other etfs remained at zero.
Meanwhile, the ethereum spot ETF has been consistently recording negative net outflows, putting them behind bitcoin in terms of active trading.
According to the following data from SosoValue, on October 11th, the fund inflow record for the bitcoin ETF in the USA was 0.25354 billion USD. This marks the second inflow of the bitcoin ETF this week, following three consecutive days of outflows.
Fidelity, ark invest 21 Shares, Bitwise, InvescoGalaxy, and VanEck are responsible for the inflow of funds into ETFs. In contrast, Blackrock and several other ETFs did not experience any fund movement during this period.
When breaking down the above numbers, it can be seen that Fidelity had the largest inflow, at 0.117 billion USD, followed closely by Ark Invest 21 Shares at 97.6 million USD. Bitwise contributed 38.8 million USD, with the remaining inflow allocated to other ETFs.
As of writing this article, the cumulative total net outflow of the bitcoin spot ETF is 18.81 billion USD, with a total net asset value of 58.66 billion USD.
The inflow into the bitcoin spot ETF aligns well with the positive price trend of BTC. After several days of negative outflows and price declines, bitcoin rose by over 3% on October 11th, jumping from 60,279 USD to 62,518 USD. This upward trend continued on October 12th, and as of writing this article, the trading price of bitcoin is around 63,000 USD.
If bitcoin maintains its positive momentum over the weekend, there may be more ETF inflows in the coming week, indicating increased investor interest. The cumulative total net outflow of the ethereum spot ETF remains negative at -5,588.8 billion USD, with a total net asset value of 6.74 billion USD. Despite occasional fund inflows, the performance of the ethereum spot ETF lags behind bitcoin, highlighting a more challenging market environment for ETH investors.
