The Neusoft Institute in Dalian successfully acquired the land use rights of Parcel A located in the High-tech Zone of Dalian City, Liaoning Province, China through public auction for RMB 0.253 billion, and also successfully acquired the land use rights of Parcel B located in the same area through public auction for RMB 13.01 million. These parcels will be used for the campus expansion project, focusing on the deep integration of education, technology, and health care, aimed at building the Neuedu Health Medical Technology Park, including student practice and training base, apartments, and other facilities.

On October 11, 2024, the Neusoft Institute and the Dalian Municipal Bureau of Natural Resources signed a transaction confirmation for the land acquisition of these parcels. It is expected that the Neusoft Institute and the Dalian Municipal Bureau of Natural Resources will respectively sign land use right transfer contracts for Parcel A and Parcel B around October 20, 2024.

Parcel A is located in the 5# plot of the East Gou area east of Digang Road and north of Software Park Road in the High-tech Zone of Dalian City, Liaoning Province. Parcel A has a total area of 0.0252 million square meters, classified as commercial land (service-type apartment), with a land use right period of 40 years. Parcel B is located in the 3# plot of the East Gou area east of Digang Road and north of Software Park Road in the High-tech Zone of Dalian City, Liaoning Province. Parcel B has a total area of 2906.32 square meters, classified as medical and health land, with a land use right period of 50 years.

The announcement mentioned that these parcels are adjacent to the main campus and training base of the Neusoft Institute in Dalian. With the continuous stable growth in enrollment and the number of students at the Neusoft Institute, the campus capacity is becoming increasingly strained. As of October 10, 2024, the number of new students enrolling for the 2024/2025 academic year at the Neusoft Institute was 8188, with a total student population of 23605, representing a 10.6% year-on-year increase in student population compared to September 26, 2023. The campus utilization rate of the Neusoft Institute reached about 96.2%. Therefore, to enhance the campus capacity of the Neusoft Institute and meet the growing demand for student numbers, the group plans to acquire the land use rights of these parcels to carry out the campus expansion project, focusing on the deep integration of education, technology, and health care, by building the Neuedu Health Medical Technology Park including student practice and training base, apartments, and other facilities. The project will focus on key specialties such as "IT+ digital media + health medical", further establish talent practice and training platforms in professional fields, technology achievement transformation platforms, and innovation and entrepreneurship incubation platforms, fully realize the interoperability and sharing of various resources among the Neusoft Institute and its affiliated institutions, and drive the integration of education, medical care, and nursing.
