Amid thin trading volumes, major stocks with large market capitalization were generally sold off, causing the TOPIX Growth Market 250 Index to close near its lows.
Individual stocks like GMO Financial Gate <4051>, CUC <9158>, Free <4478>, and regional revitalization-related stocks like Amefuta Taiyou <5616> were among those that declined. Bank of Innovation <4393>, HENNGE <4475>, and Grid <5582> ranked high on the list of decliners.
On the other hand, Timey <215a> continued to rebound from its all-time low since listing, and the recent IPO stock Ortz <260a> hit the daily limit up. Low-priced stocks like Yumetenbo <3185>, Fruitfuluta <2586> showed significant gains. Dricom <3793>, Social Wire <3929>, and Souiken <2385> ranked high on the list of gainers.
Stocks included in the TOPIX Growth Market Core Index such as GMO Financial Gate, CUC, Free, Trit <9164>, and Bengoshi-dot-com <6027> also declined.
Today, the opening price of Schoo<264A>, which was listed on the growth market, exceeded the offering price by 10.3% to reach 761 yen.
