$Adairs Ltd (ADH.AU)$ shares surged 13.36% to A$2.63, following the release of a trading update for the first 16 weeks of FY25.
According to the announcement, the group sales increased 4.8% for the first 16 weeks of FY25, which is largely driven by the sales of Adairs. The sales of Adairs increased 16.1% following the deployment of the new Warehouse Management System.
The group remains optimistic about what it can achieve in FY25 as the current quarter (Oct - Dec) is a key retail promotional period. The FY25 capital expenditure is expected to be in the range of A$13 million to A$15 million.
