Nvidia is establishing partnerships with Reliance Industrial conglomerates, Infosys, and other major conglomerates in India, highlighting the importance of the world's most populous country towards the future of this artificial intelligence pioneer.

Nvidia is hosting an artificial intelligence summit in Mumbai, emphasizing the ways in which various industry partners in India are utilizing its artificial intelligence technology to support their products and services. At Thursday's event, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang will discuss the potential of artificial intelligence in India with Mukesh Ambani, the chairman of Reliance group.

Nvidia stated that it will help Tech Mahindra Ltd. in India establish a large-scale language model in Hindi and collaborate with the e-commerce company Flipkart to develop a conversational customer service system. The company will also partner with Indian medical care companies to help improve patient care and research productivity.

Nvidia began its operations in Bangalore, southern India, 20 years ago, and has development centers in three other cities in India, with a total of around 4,000 engineers, making it the second-largest employee base of the company after the USA.

About a year ago, Nvidia reached agreements with local industrial conglomerates like Ambani's Reliance group and Tata group to establish artificial intelligence data centers. In August this year, Ambani mentioned at the Reliance industrial conglomerates' live shareholder meeting that the company is developing a series of artificial intelligence tools and applications called JioBrain, mentioning the term 'artificial intelligence' at least 80 times during the meeting.
