Today, Gigabit released its financial results for the third quarter of 2024. Q3 achieved revenue of 0.859 billion yuan in a single quarter, down 10.36% year on year; net profit to mother was 0.14 billion yuan, down 23.82% year on year.

Gigabit said that the main reason for the decline in Q3 performance was the year-on-year decline in revenue and profit of “Enquiry” mobile game, “Enquiry Mobile Game”, and “Easy Thinking (Mainland Edition)”.

Although Gigbit launched 6 new products this year, including “The Immortal Family” and “One Piece: Dream Guide,” the three games mentioned above have been in operation for 18, 8, and 3 years, and are still the company's main source of revenue. From January to September 2024, the total turnover of these three games reached 2.972 billion yuan, a decrease of 17.19% over the same period last year.

A Financial Services Association reporter learned that recently, Gibbit's two highly-anticipated key products, “Asking Sword Eternal Life (code M72)” and “The Legend of the Fist and Sword (code code M88)”, have completed the first round of paid testing. These two games received versions in June and July of this year, respectively, and are expected to be launched between the end of this year and the first half of next year.

The growth rate of overseas business also slowed slightly. In January-September of this year, the company's overseas revenue was 0.369 billion yuan, an increase of 99.57% over the previous year. Games such as “Fly Dragon Knight (Overseas Edition),” “Monster Never Cry (Overseas Edition),” and “Outpost: Infinity Siege (Steam International Edition)” were launched during this period. Gigabit said that by the end of the third quarter, the overall overseas game business (considering R&D costs) had not been profitable.

At the same time as the financial report was released, Gigbit announced its profit distribution plan for the third quarter of 2024. It plans to distribute a cash dividend of 20.00 yuan (tax included) to all shareholders for every 10 shares, for a total of 0.144 billion yuan (tax included), which exceeds the company's net profit for Q3.

It is worth mentioning that in the first three quarters of this year, gigabit cash dividends (including cash dividends already distributed for the 2024 semi-annual period) totaled about 0.466 billion yuan (tax included), accounting for 70.94% of net profit attributable to the mother in the consolidated statement for the January-September 2024 period.
