In the first three quarters, China's steel exports reached 80.71 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 21.2%; the average export price was $770 per ton, nearly 40% higher than domestic steel prices during the same period.

Jiang Wei, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Chairman, and Secretary-General of the China Iron and Steel Industry Association, stated that as the national industrial restructuring further advances, the consumption structure of steel is further optimized, especially in the rapid expansion of steel consumption in areas such as new energy, high-end equipment manufacturing, and electric vehicles.
