GLONGHUI, October 28 | Lairsdam (00738.HK) announced that in the first half of the 2024/25 fiscal year, the Group's overall revenue fell 27.3% year on year to RMB 0.1496 billion. The consolidated loss attributable to the company's equity holders was RMB 38 million (2023/24: comprehensive loss RMB 13.9 million). The basic loss per share was RMB5.39 cents.
During the review period, the retail market in mainland China continued to slow, causing the Group's total retail sales to drop significantly. On the other hand, in order to clean up slow-flow inventory, the Group provided higher sales discounts, which led to a decline in gross margin.
