According to the Zhitong Finance App, China Metallurgical (01618) announced results for the first three quarters of 2024. Revenue was about 412.617 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 11.71%; net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies was about 6.831 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 16.53%; and basic earnings per share were 0.24 yuan. Among them, net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies in the third quarter of 2024 was about 2.681 billion yuan, an increase of 177.45% over the previous year.
The total amount of new contracts signed by the company in the first three quarters of 2024 was RMB 891.69 billion, down 9.2% from the same period last year. Among them, the amount of new overseas contracts signed was RMB 60.76 billion, an increase of 85.2% over the same period last year.
