Caixin News October 30 (Reporter Hu Haoqiong) Since the beginning of this year, the domestic tourism consumer market has been hot, showing a trend of 'following the crowd'. Xinhualian (000620.SZ), with cultural and tourism as its main business, reported that its net income in the third quarter and the first three quarters more than doubled year-on-year. According to Caixin News, Xinhualian's tourism-related enterprises under the company have seen a significant increase in revenue and profits year-on-year in the first three quarters.

Today, Xinhualian announced that from January to September, the company achieved an operating income of 2.264 billion yuan, a 15.3% year-on-year decrease; the net income attributable to shareholders of the listed company was 83.5042 million yuan, a 104.75% year-on-year increase; the net income attributable to shareholders of the listed company excluding non-recurring gains and losses was 41.9848 million yuan, a 102.17% year-on-year increase.

In the third quarter alone, the company achieved an operating income of 0.689 billion yuan, a 27.44% year-on-year decrease, and a net income attributable to the parent company of 34.9954 million yuan, a 106.53% year-on-year increase; the net income attributable to the shareholders of the listed company after deducting non-recurring gains and losses was 14.37 million yuan, a 102.71% year-on-year increase.

Regarding the significant growth in performance, Xinhualian mentioned that it was mainly due to the comprehensive recovery of the cultural and tourism industry. The company continued to enrich its cultural and tourism product offerings. The tourist arrivals at the company's scenic spot, Copper Guan Kiln Ancient Town, increased significantly this year during the peak tourism season. At the same time, the tourism revenue and profits of the company's travel agency in Copper Guan Kiln Ancient Town continued the trend of significant growth from the first half of the year.

In addition, Xinhualian also revealed that with the introduction of the 'stabilizing and stabilizing' policy combination in the real estate market, the performance of the company's related real estate projects has rebounded. Performance of its subsidiaries, Yuehao Property and Huizhou Tuoxin Construction, also saw an uptick.

It is worth noting that in the first three quarters of this year, Xinhualian's financial expenses decreased by 96.22% year-on-year, while management expenses and sales expenses decreased by 47.14% and 51.88% respectively.

Xinhualian mentioned that in order to accelerate the expansion of the cultural and tourism industry and reduce investment pressure, the company is currently focusing on management output, project cooperation, and seeking new breakthroughs in light asset operation.
