Gelonghui November 1st | Sinopec Seg (02386.HK) announced that the company received a notification from the controlling shareholder, PetroChina Petrochemical Group Co., Ltd., to deepen the strategic cooperation between PetroChina Group and PetroChina Group, optimize the equity structure of the company, China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation will directly hold 219,980,000 shares of the company's domestic shares (accounting for approximately 5.00% of the total issued shares of the company as of the date of this announcement, i.e. 4,399,599,000 shares, the same below) transferred to PetroChina Group.
After this transfer, as of the date of this announcement, China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation directly holds 2,687,876,000 shares of the company's domestic shares, accounting for approximately 61.09% of the total issued shares of the company; PetroChina directly holds 219,980,000 shares of the company's domestic shares, accounting for approximately 5.00% of the total issued shares of the company. This transfer did not lead to a change in the company's controlling shareholder.
