8: 30 p.m. ET. : Polls continue to close and the South is looking pretty red.

At this time, 13 states have closed. Georgia remains too close to call. Florida has had many of its regions reporting results, with Trump at this time the projected winner. The South continues going red with South Carolina, Alabama having Trump as its winner.  Michigan just started reporting results and in North Carolina, votes are looking blue.
