The Prime Minister's Office, through the Performance Acceleration Coordination Unit (PACU) and the Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC), will host the two-year MADANI Government Programme (2TM) and the 2024 National Public Service Reform Convention from Nov 22 to 24 2024 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC). This high-profile event will provide a platform for the public to explore the government's efforts in delivering impactful reforms and initiatives through its MADANI approach.

With the theme "MADANI in the Heart, Citizens are Served," the programme aims to increase public awareness of ongoing initiatives and their direct benefits to Malaysians. By reporting on the progress of reforms and the status of government actions, the event promotes transparency and strengthens public trust. The programme will feature updates on recent government achievements and will outline the strategic direction moving forward, focusing on economic and social prosperity.

A key component of the event is its alignment with the public service reform agenda announced by the Chief Secretary to the Government on 10 September. This agenda is guided by five pillars: values and governance, human capital development, organisational growth, service delivery, and collaboration between the public and private sectors. Such reforms are essential in raising efficiency and integrity in the public service while incorporating private-sector expertise and innovation.

During the convention, attendees can participate in discussions, forums, and feedback sessions with government representatives, private sector leaders, NGOs, and academics, aiming to capture diverse perspectives on policy effectiveness. This dialogue is intended to improve the implementation of government policies and tailor development steps to the evolving needs of the public.

In addition to the main discussions, a variety of public-friendly activities will be held, including interactive sessions with government agencies, business matching opportunities, exhibitions on Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), a career carnival, a MADANI-themed sale, and a programme offering traffic summons reductions.

The convention's opening ceremony will be officiated by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim on Saturday, Nov 23, at 11.00 am. All members of the public are invited to attend and share their feedback directly with government representatives, as well as to engage in the wide range of services and activities provided throughout the event.
