The three major U.S. stock indexes collectively rose last night, all hitting new historical highs. The S&P 500 index for the first time crossed the 6,000-point mark. At the close, the Dow rose 0.69% to 44,293.13 points; the Nasdaq rose 0.06% to 19,298.76 points; the S&P 500 index rose 0.10% to 6,001.35 points. The Russell 2000 small-cap stock index rose 1.54% to 2,436.57 points.

Large technology stocks had mixed performance, with Google rising 1.13%, Netflix rising 1.29%, Intel falling by over 4%, Apple falling by 1.2%, Nvidia falling by 1.6%, Microsoft falling by 1.03%, Meta falling by 1%, Amazon falling by 0.61%.

Tesla's stock price rose over 9%, increasing its total market value to $1.13 trillion.

Cryptocurrency concept stocks surged, Canaan rose by 41%, MicroStrategy rose by 25%, and Coinbase rose by 19%.

Most popular China concept stocks rose, Nasdaq Golden Dragon Index closed up 0.59%. XPeng Autos surged over 5%, Li Auto rose nearly 3%, JD.com, Alibaba rose over 1%. iQIYI fell over 1%, Gaotu Techedu fell over 5%.

The three major Hong Kong stock indices collectively weakened on Monday. As of the close, the Hang Seng Index fell by 1.45% to close at 20426.93 points; the technology index fell by 0.35% to close at 4651.71 points; the state-owned enterprises index fell by 1.42% to close at 7355.57 points.

In terms of market performance, automotive retail, cryptos stocks, and related ETFs strengthened. Meanwhile, brokerages and real estate stocks showed weakness.
