On the 12th, Draft <5070> announced its consolidated financial results for the third quarter of the fiscal year ending December 2024 (January to September 2024). Revenue was 9.671 billion yen, a 58.9% increase compared to the same period last year, operating profit was 0.794 billion yen (compared to a profit of 0.052 billion yen in the same period last year), ordinary profit was 0.78 billion yen (compared to a profit of 0.031 billion yen in the same period last year), and quarterly net income attributable to the parent company's shareholders was 0.469 billion yen (compared to a loss of 0.021 billion yen in the same period last year).

The increase in sales revenue is attributed to strong demand for the company's design, as well as order activities focused on quarterly performance and growth based on the progress of performance obligations.

Although selling, general and administrative expenses increased, primarily due to personnel costs and advertising, the decrease in office rent limited the increase to 8.9% year-on-year, resulting in significant profit growth at each profit stage.

By area of revenue, "display design, architectural design, and qitabankuai" reached 4.57 billion yen (up 146.6% year-on-year), and "office design, project management, and qitabankuai" amounted to 5.101 billion yen (up 171.9% year-on-year), with both areas showing steady revenue growth.

The consolidated results forecast for the fiscal year ending December 2024 remains unchanged, with revenue expected to be 12 billion yen, a 12.1% increase from the previous fiscal year, operating profit at 0.98 billion yen, a 12.6% increase, ordinary profit at 0.96 billion yen, a 13.2% increase, and net income attributable to the parent company's shareholders at 0.58 billion yen, a 12.3% increase from the previous fiscal year. Furthermore, the year-end dividend forecast has been increased from the initial estimate of 6.0 yen to 7.0 yen as disclosed in the "announcement of the revision of dividend forecast (increase in dividends) and change in dividend policy" on October 25, 2024.
