During the reporting period, JD Health continued to deepen cooperation with pharmaceutical companies, and various new drugs were launched at JD Pharmacies, including Beichangping, the world's first ultra-long-acting hypoglycemic drug under Hisco, Feiheda, a rare disease drug owned by Novartis Pharmaceuticals, and the Ogalon lipid-lowering drug Ylitol. JD Health also leverages its supply chain resource advantages to help pharmaceutical companies establish efficient drug distribution systems and new digital business models. During the reporting period, Merck Pharmaceuticals's official flagship store was officially launched at JD Health. The two sides will deepen cooperation in market expansion, patient management, etc., and continue to improve the accessibility and convenience of patients' medication use.
During the reporting period, JD Health promoted innovation in service models and successively launched online medical insurance payment services in 10 cities including Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Chengdu. As of September 30, 2024, we have provided online medical insurance settlement services in 12 cities. We have connected nearly 2,000 designated medical insurance retail pharmacies, covering a population of over 100 million.
During the reporting period, JD Health continued to improve the online medical service experience and launched a variety of new rapid testing services to achieve a closed loop of “diagnosis and treatment+testing+sales of pharmaceuticals and health products” online medical service model. Practitioners at Jingdong Health Internet Hospital can issue electronic examination forms for users online. After users make an appointment with a nurse to complete on-site sample collection and testing, they can make subsequent diagnoses and purchase drugs based on the test results. During the reporting period, we launched more than 100 on-site tests and 27 home care services, covering 14 cities across the country, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen, further improving the one-stop service experience.
