At this exhibition, similar to the 2023 exhibition1, they will provide a Mixed Reality (MR) makeup simulation that instantly and naturally follows facial movements through high-speed projection mapping. This service has received the "CES Innovation Awards 2025 Honoree" in the XR Technologies & Accessories category. Business negotiations for introducing the flow from makeup experience to product purchase as a service can be conducted at the booth.

CES is a technology expo in Las Vegas, USA, where cutting-edge products from around the world gather. In 2024, it became a large-scale event with over 4,300 exhibitor booths and more than 0.13 million visitors. Our company made its first appearance in 2023 and provided MR makeup simulation experiences using high-speed projection mapping. We received positive feedback such as 'amazement and inspiration' from many of the over 1,200 visitors, who felt the new possibilities for self-expression. Therefore, we have determined that this service has the potential to pioneer new possibilities in makeup and has versatile applications in entertainment and various other areas, and have been progressing with considerations towards commercialization. At our directly managed stores in Japan, customers can experience MR makeup of this service, leading to makeup suggestions tailored to each individual, and we aim to expand sales as a service based on this knowledge.
This time, together with Tokyo Electron Devices Inc., which provides the special projector, a key component of this service, we will exhibit at 'CES 2025', where experiences and discussions on the service can be conducted globally. Based on the reactions received at this booth, we will further enhance the service and explore the expansion of commercial viability not only in the beauty field but also in other areas.

- About MR Makeup Simulation Using High-Speed Projection Mapping
This service allows projection of makeup onto one's face in an instant simply by sitting in the booth and manipulating panels - a makeup simulation system. This technology was jointly developed by KOSÉ and Watanabe Yoshihiro Laboratory, Department of Information and Communication Systems, School of Engineering, Tokyo University of Science*. The same service has been available since August 2022 at KOSÉ's concept store Maison KOSÉ Ginza.

The CES Innovation Awards is an awards program that evaluates the outstanding design and technology of digital technology and technology products in conjunction with the CES event.
